Busca Corp. Acquires Domain Name Levelup.com
La Jolla, April 23, 2009— "Busca Corp, the fastest-growing Spanish-language Entertainment network in Latin America, has acquired the domain name, Levelup.com, for an undisclosed amount", company President Ramon Toledo announced today.
"We’ve wanted this domain for years but could not afford the original $1 million price tag. After more than 1 year of negotiating we are thrilled that we have finally acquired this coveted top level domain," Toledo says.
"Levelup.com.mx is without question the number one video game site in Mexico and most likely all of Latin America. This is a domain we should have had from the beginning and we are proud to say we are now 'Levelup.com'."
Busca Corp’s Video Game website in Mexico, until now, had been www.levelup.com.mx. Our company is just completed the process of making the conversion to www.levelup.com exclusively. "Only Busca Corp., with our partnerships and revenue share deals, can maximize the benefit of this domain," Toledo adds. Currently Levelup is the main supplier of Video Game Content for MSN Prodigy in Mexico and has plans to expand this partnership to the entire U.S. Hispanic Market and the rest of Latin America. "Potentially, Levelup.com will be the main portal for Video Games for the Latin as well as Hispanic Markets", he says. Thanks to Busca Corp., Video Games have gained tremendous increase in appeal and popularity among users and consumers in Latin America. Distribution and dissemination of content was greatly fragmented for years and now Video Games play a major role in the consumer market with ever-increasing numbers in this 57 Billion-Dollar market. Busca Corp is the leader of providing real-time, valuable and relevant content, information and updates for the Spanish-speaking Video Game world.
